SHOCK TEST
TURKAK Accredited Testing and Verification
STEST is accredited by the Turkish Accreditation Institution (TURKAK) and carries out its testing and verification activities in an independent, competent, and impartial manner in compliance with national and international standards.
Shock Test
The Shock Test is conducted to assess the structural integrity of the test item under dynamic loads encountered in real operating conditions and to identify potential design weaknesses. This test evaluates physical and functional durability against force impulses and temperature variations that products may experience during handling, transportation, and service environments.
Objective Goal
- Determine product resistance to high-G forces and short-duration impact loads.
- Identify design weak points and quantify susceptibility to damage.
Test Scope Scope
- Force impulses, acceleration, and deceleration effects.
- Structural and functional evaluation under temperature variations.
Technical Implementation Process
- Mechanical shock tests are applied using controlled acceleration profiles.
- Measurements and analysis are performed using multi-channel data acquisition systems.
Application Areas Use
- Aerospace, defense, and automotive systems.
- Transportation, installation, and operational use conditions.
STEST performs shock testing in accordance with MIL-STD-810 and RTCA DO-160 requirements and provides detailed test reports.
